He has been good about signing items sent to him. Two years ago I sent a custom item. I got a note back from his assistant who said he was out of town but would sign the items that had piled up when he arrived. A month or so later it arrived signed. I would keep trying to contact the email contact address to ask permission to send the vinyl album. Which album did you buy if I may ask?

You could email them via their contact us page first to ask if he will sign stuff.

Help with husband's 30th present!

Hi Everyone,
I have no clue about autograph collecting but am trying to sort out a surprise for my husband's 30th birthday next year (the only thing I know is that it can take a loooong time so I'm starting early!). My husband is a huge Peter Gabriel fan so...
I have bought a Peter Gabriel vinyl album and wonder what the chance are of him signing it if I posted it to his fan mail address with the correct postage etc... I also thought about sending a blank 'Happy 30th' card too as well as a nice letter.
What do you think my chances are of him signing either / both? I don't want to send things if it's a waste of time, because he only signs photos or whatever.
Any tips would be fantastic!
:)
