If you are truly serious about getting started in the Hobby...there are 2 things that will help you out tremendously...

1) Join http://www.sportscollectors.net
It's $15 for a year's membership and the amount of information you can find there is priceless...
If money is tight and you don't want to drop $15, join http://spaamcollectorsforum.forumotion.com/. It's free and full of helpful information, addresses and has a lot of great members willing to help you out.

2) Order Harvey Meiselman's address book. Probably the most comprehensive and detailed address list you will ever find. http://www.sportsaddresslists.com/baseball.html It list addresses for every HOF'er, umpire, current and past baseball player along with addresses to every major league and minor league team. It tells you who charges and who doesn't. Also list all of the still living Negro League players, the women's AAGPBL players, baseball executives and GM's. Its $35 but more than worth it.

Other than that, have fun and do you research.

Agree for the thirs time. Ive been collecting for over three years and have only ever asked to trade someone for an address. And you may want to do homework on the people you are trying to get. Ive seen people use form letters and get shot down by 100% signers because they didnt even try. Just google the name or even HOF signer's habits and fees. Good luck though and welcome to the hobby.

Also agree. Do some homework. The addresses are out there.

Don't take this the wrong way but there is no other way to say it.. Don't be lazy, take the time to do your own work on finding the address of the guys you wanna send to. Part of the fun of getting the ones you want is when you do the research into finding out how to get them. Asking for people to do your work for you just says that you are willing to settle for anyone who signs TTM. All you need to do, atleast on this site is search the name of the person you want to send to and see what is there for info. There are other address sites you can join and have alot of great success. Just take the time to search for yourself. Get them because you are a fan of theirs, not because they sign. Happy Collecting.

I am wanting to start collecting mlb hall of famers autographs.
Does anyone have any working addresses for any mlb hall of famers or former/current cardinals and phillies players.
