Gene Chandler (a.k.a. Duke of Earl)

Hello everyone,

this is my first post here in the fanmail.biz forum. After scouring the Fanmail.biz site and searching using Google, I have been unable to locate an autograph request address for Gene Chandler. For those of you wondering who I'm talking about, he's probably most known for his 1962 hit "Duke of Earl" which he recorded with the Dukays.

Google yields 3 or 4 promising results but none of these seem to be official. It is also very hard to tell which address can still be used.

Here are the links I found:

1) http://www.genedukeofearl.com/index2.html (Gene Chandler's official website with an address listed towards the middle of the page)

2) http://www.celebritiesfans.com/addresse ... e-chandler (Promising but unknown when this address was posted)
3) http://books.google.de/books?id=f-AgULN ... ss&f=false (Listed in a 2005 book called "The Ultimate Celebrity Address & Phone Book" by Cord G. Coslor, displayed online through Google Books, address probably no longer valid)

His official site seems to yield the most promising result but since Google Streetview shows that address as being in a residential neighborhood I've sent an e-mail to the e-mail address listed on his website to find out if that is a correct address for autograph requests.

In the meantime, I'm putting my request out there in the hopes of someone being able to assist a newcomer. Perhaps someone here has already achieved that goal and could share an address that isn't listed in the fanmail.biz database.

Thank you,

Toni
