Here is a sample from a photo I took at the NYC Hard Rock Cafe.

Everyone is right, That is not a genuine example of Paul's signature. My specialty is the Beatles and I can usually date their signature to within a few months. That is a forgery trying to copy a 1997-2001 signature of Paul. Sorry.

It disturbs me and after seeing the pictures just doesn't seem like Paul.

Sorry :(

This does not seem authentic. I've seen many good ones over the years and this doesn't look like any of those. Sorry.

Matty06P, can you please provide more details about the autograph, if available? Where was it obtained, time period, link to the seller, etc?

I'm not going to give any opinions of authenticity at this point, but instead I will provide two pictures from autographworld.com for you to have a look at. Both are authentic McCartney's. I think what you will immedately notice is that the Pa in Paul, is different in these two examples to that of the one you're looking at buying.

May I suggest that, when attempting to buy Beatles autographs, try shopping around at more reputable places than eBay. eBay + The Beatles authentics just don't sound right together.

I'm not sure, It looks abit like the type of autograph that he does now. If you look at his autographs from the past years - they change alot! But tthis looks very much like its genuine.

Is it yours, how did you get it? :?
I thought that Paul didn't sign and sent them via post anymore.

Simply put.....No it's not, Rarely if ever, does Sir Paul ever sign.

Indeed, even most Beatles autographs are fake.... what they used to do is someone would take, your photo, or album off you, then sign it behind closed doors, then give it back, to the person, who with the passing of a great many years (45 years) will say with hand on heart, that the feb 4 signed it.....in most cases at least 75 % no they did'ot.

Out of the Beatles, Ringo was always the best signer, and at the moment is signing the last lot of autographs ever.
