Actually, that's not true. Most of the presidents once they're out of office DO sign authentically. It just takes the right address.

Clinton still uses autopen.

i think he signs authentically if you send him a photo to sign... i got one back from him last month that doesn't appear to be an autopen

No Unfortunately it's an autopen

it's a secretarial personalization with most likely an autopen signature.

I recently wrote to Mr. Bush Sr. and sent a SASE to him and he was gracious enough to mail it back to me with this picture and inscribtion. I used the address in the database and sent on 10 Mar. 2009 and received on 8 May 2009. This one i was wandering if was power-pened or authentic? It seems to be two different prints sizes and ink darker and thicker on Signature. Thanks!
