I have done numerous "google" searches online and have found this same autographed bookplate about a dozen times on different web pages. Each one had a slightly different signature on it. I don't feel this is an autopen- it does not have the characteristics of one. The fact is- it’s not a PP, or an AP, it really was hand signed. I just wanted to know if Barbara Bush signed it- or if it’s a secretarial.

Thank you

That is the autopen that she sends out.

The authentically signed bookplates from her usually have a 'Happy Reading!' inscription.

If the signature is on a bookplate then I would say its real. If the signature was on the book I would say its an autopen.

I do believe that to be real. {up}

Nice find!

(It's my opinion it's authentic, I could be- and have been, wrong.)

Barbara Bush... real?

Hi Guys-

I need your advice- is this real or not? I found this autographed bookplate tucked into a copy of Mrs. Barbara Bush's autobiography at a Goodwill store! Only paid $1.99 for the book, figured it was worth it if the autograph is real... opinions?

Thanks-

GABOR
