My opinion was not based on that example, but on the fact that it's a perfect match of a known secretarial autograph from that area. If you look at the first link, there are also about 6 authentic Marlon Brando signatures listed as comparison, from in person to document examples.

The Marlon Brando signature you have unfortunately is secretarial. It is a perfect match with other known secretarial signed pictures send out in the 80's.

For a bit of information and secretarial examples:

An authentic Marlon Brando example:

In the 80's I used to send out tons of autograph requests and then store them in my album. Since then I have compared many of them to authentic sig examples you can find on the net so I could sort out the real ones from the secretarial and auto pen ones, ect. The one photo I have not ever been able to resolve is this one. I have looked at some authentic examples on websites but still have no idea.

I was under the impression that Marlon never signed at all, the one I got I had just sent a letter requesting his autograph, I think the address was his home one I can't remember.

I really did not expect a reply but I did get this inscribed signed photo back. (around 1988 or so) Did he have a secretary who would sign, does it look like a know secretarial sig?

Any help or thoughts appreciated on it being real or not.
