Sometimes signed posters are given out at premieres, for example this was done at the New Moon premiere, but they weren't signed by the full cast, only by about 13 or so cast members, and the signatures although nice and full were all over the poster, not neatly placed like on these posters.
question: why would they give out official stuff with secs on them? and two who cares if its not signed by the full cast? they dont want people who areextras to sign the poster? they want the "main people" to sign them right? LOL and so what if they arent "neatly placed", thats not a big deal...so now why are you saying that they arent authentic?
Where did it say they are secretarial signatures? I said they were forged, as in by the person selling the item.
But to explain again:
The item (poster) is an official limited edition poster given out by summit entertainment at the premiere. Someone gets their hands on this poster and forges the signatures of the Twilight cast members. Then puts it up for sale pretending it's real.
The Ebay listing states that the signatures were obtained at different places and even on different dates. You know how hard it is to carry around a poster and get it signed at various places, all in the same perfect silver marker?
And I think you were totally missing the point I was trying to make by mentioning the New Moon poster. It wasn't about 'extras' not signing the poster.
I have seen plenty of authentic cast signed posters from the Twilight cast, ever since the first San Diego Comic Con they attended. Even the ones they did at the Hot Topic event and ones obtained at the premieres. And none of them look anything like this.
But take all those reasons away, it leaves just ones thing, the signatures don't look authentic.
Yes a signature can vary, it can be rushed, they could be sitting down or standing at a premiere. But the characteristics of someones signature never changes.
And yes I agree with canadagraphs, 2 of those Taylor Lautners you posted are also fakes.
But like I said, this is just my opinion. And you are entitled to yours. And even though we can keep going back and forth about this, I won't.
And I'm sure Zipbags can make up his own mind in the end.
