I hate to say it, but I'd be willing to bet ALOT of money the one you bought is a fake. There's a lot of things just off with it... especially with the "R". I've never seen him sign an R like that before... Here I made you a picture to compare, and decide for yourself.

On the top, left corner is the R from your picture. The 3 other pictures around it are all authentics people on this site got VV, then the one with an "IP" and arrow pointing to it, is a signature someone got in person and the bottom picture is the full signature (from the autentic picture i have from him).
As you might have notice, in all the authentic ones, he starts the R at the bottom of the letter and he never picks up his pen. On yours, it's clear the forger picked up the pen... if that made sense. Not only that, most of his IP's are rushed and very sloppy... So with all that being said, in my opinion yours is fake. :neutral:
Word of advice, never buy an autograph off ebay.... more then likely it's fake.
I Hope you manage to get him VV sometime though!!
