I think she's very good considering how you put it. Yes it is a new language for her so for her to write all or most of her songs in a foreign language is pretty amazing :) I say "how you put it" because I have found some of her songs a bit weird? I don't know if that's the right way to put it. I don't think it has anything to do with her English Language at all. I just think its her style. for example, in Wherever, Whenever, "my breasts are small and humble so you don't confuse them with mountains" :roll:

I do like Shakira. She seems such a nice person :)

What do you think about Shakira as an English language songwriter? Is she good writing in english? Shakira learnt english in 2001, and all her english songs since then, have been writing by her. So, considering Spanish is her native language and english is almost a new language for her, I would like to know your opinion about her skills as an english language songwriter.
