I'd pass. Two reasons. As Scottishdan pointed out Alan Rickman doesn't sign Potter items. BUT the main reason this poster looks phoney is just the fact that it's a poster. Do you know how hard it is to carry around a poster to get it signed? With all those signatures the poster would get pretty beat up quick. Poster looks to be in mint condition! Looks funny to me.
I see your point... although she did have some picture proof...she showed me the invites to all the premiers that had invites, so it seems real. Though i suspect the Alan one was either, super lucky, OR is a fake... I probably wont get it any way as the bidding has gone a bit out of my reach.

One thing that always makes me question a posters authenticity is if Alan Rickman's signature is on it because he rarely ever signs Harry Potter items! I can't really make out the autographs very clearly so can't really comment on that! 8)

I actually can't go any closer. Those are the given photo's for the auction and are as close as they go. From what I see the fred and George on matches my IP one.

can you post a close up of the autographs.. i can hardly see them so its kinda hard to tell.. i have IP's of the Weasley Twins, Devon Murray , Katie Leung, and Natalia Tena if you wanna compare (even though Tena has like 6 diff signatures that ive seen)

is it not authentic? or just a sneaky suspicion that it is a forgery?

Hi.

I'm looking at this ebay item and I was hoping you would be able to tell me your opinion on its authenticity. It says that it was all gained IP at numerous events. Would you say it is worth bidding...(it's currently at a steal of a price) and it would really complete my collection but I only want it if its real. Evanna Lynch's doesn't look right but when I compare it to the 100% authentic verified autographs it seems real, perhaps since it says obtained IP it was just rushed. What's your opinion?

Please let me know ASAP.

Here is the description:

This is for a Harry Potter Fully Signed/Autographed Poster. It is authentic as the signatures lie above the poster (meaning it was not printed with the poster itself).

This poster was hand-signed in person by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Maggie Smith, Robert Hardy, Warrick Davies, Michael Gambon, Robbie Coltrane, Toby Jones, Evanna Lynch, Katie Leung, Matthew Lewis, Robert Pattinson, Mark Williams, Julie Waters, Bonnie Wright, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Chris Rankin, David Thewlis, Natalia Tena, Gary Oldman, Brendan Gleeson, Emma Thompson, George Harris, David Bradley, Timothy Spall, Jason Issacs, Ralph Fieenes, Tom Felton, Alan Rickman, Imelda Staunton, Jamie Waylett, Josh Herdman, Louis Cordice, Devon Murray, and Helena Bonham Carter

This Poster was signed at various events including the world premiere of the Harry Potter Deathly Hallows part 2 (it comes with documentation from this), the empire awards 2011, and the uk premiere of water for elephants.

The poster has some wear along the edges and in various areas due to actors/actresses handling when they were signing it. But if you frame it, it will still look great. This is an extremely rare item with so many cast member's autographs on the same poster. Size of poster is ~ 24x36'
