Very cool success. I hosted an instore appearance with him and Eric Johnson years ago during a G3 tour. Super nice guys.
Congrats.

No, it was a residential address. He does however have an address on his website's FAQ page you can send to. I found it after I sent to his house.

Congrats! I met him while he was doing a show here in Finland. Awesome guy, great guitar player and super nice to his fans! :D
We were waiting him after the show and when he came from the backstage he said: "Sorry that it took so long!" and we had waited for 30 minutes :D

This one took awhile. I sent photos, SAE, return postage, and LOR to what I believed to be Steve Vai's home address in July, 2013. I wasn't worried about the time to get them back since I knew that he has a rigorous touring schedule. However, I did receive them back Feb. 4, 2014, for a grand total of seven months. In his letter, he says that he just returned from touring. He was gracious to sign all my stuff, even though I sent way too much because I was still new to collecting then. He also added a photo, guitar picks, and a paper that has seeds embedded that will grow in soil. Awesome success!
