With tough signers like Sean Connery, I wonder what came first (like chicken/egg debate). Were there a lot of people trying to get his autograph because he was a tough signer or was he a tough signer because of too many ppl asking for his autograph?
Back in the earlier days of my collecting, he was known as a tough signer amongst collectors and I'm sure is just as tough or even tougher in his 80s.

I think it's mostly the dealers that make him fume.......

Why is he so rude to fans? Most are true fans and not everyone is trying to make money off of him.

10% real ones out there prolly , the rest are fake......how can dealers get him constantly if he very often refuses , think about it.

Same thing with Dalton , he refuses to sign 007 stuff.

Yes it's a sec and so are a lot of his autographs that are on eBay.

He has stated many times that he doesn't sign autographs and he won't sign them.
Don't kid yourself thinking it's real

A recent interview..........
A friend tells a recent story which illustrates the point. After watching as Sir Sean rebuffed yet another autograph hunter in the street with a typical four-letter rebuke, the friend asked Connery why he was so reluctant to sign his name for his fans.

'I'm not getting paid for it,' barked back Connery. 'These b******s sell my signature on the internet for hundreds of dollars. They're making a killing off my back.'

For a man who has more cash than he could possibly ever dream of spending, it was a strange comment indeed. But to truly understand Connery, one must grasp the sheer intensity of his determination to be paid his due - and then to hold on to what he's earned.
