Raymond Briggs is best known as the man who created the iconic kids book The Snowman. It's a book, a film and a stage show, and loved by children and adults the world over. I've tried for years to get Raymond involved in my auctions in the coolest way... and have managed to get signed Xmas Cards and Books as time has passed. This time though, wow!
Among the items which came back in the post to me were a couple of signed Xmas Cards and this amazing signed artwork. On one of the 8x5 cards I provided, Raymond has drawn The Snowman for me, signed, drawn and dated.
It's a mindblowing success, and one I am hugely thrilled with and I know will raise loads for my charity fundraising.
