Back in the late 90s, I e-mailed him via his website (don't know if it's still up and running) and I received a signed/inscribed (with my full name, which I'd never seen before) small photo. I sent a X-Men magazine cover to the address the small photo came from, and a few months later that came back signed as well.

Any DOUBLE Successes for Sir Ian McKellen?

Hello.

I was looking at some of the success threads for my favorite actor, Sir Ian McKellen, and I noticed that typically if someone sends him more than one thing, he'll sign one item and send the others back unsigned.

I'm really wanting to get two items signed (one Blu-ray cover, and one picture), and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of him signing more than one thing.

If not, should I write him twice?
And if I do that, how long do you think I should wait after success #1 to write again for success #2?
