As much as we don't like it, sometimes things get lost in the mail. If you really want a response from him go ahead and resend. Be sure to include a SASE and a photo if you have one. Some people only sign what is sent to them and others send their own photo.

Last week marked a year since I sent out my letter. I've seen other people have success (using the same address) in under two months who live on the other side of the country. I live a half hour away! I never got a response and never got the letter back. Maybe it got lost, maybe he's not receiving mail at that address anymore, maybe he got it and didn't respond but either way it was really disheartening to spend time carefully writing a letter I hoped he'd read and get no response. Here's the address I used. If anyone knows anything about a new address this should be updated so other people actually get a response
