I recently sent out a request for Mr. Selleck (sent to the NRA address, which took about a month) which contained a baseball, baseball card and 3x5 card. I received the ball first (box didn't have a postmark). Kinda of weird when all the items could have been sent back in one box at the same time, so i took the cards as a loss which was fine. I compered the signature to others from on-line (pictures from the web, ebay items which were PSA/DNA) and the signature and inscriptions matched from what i saw. So forward to a week and a half later i received one of those brown hard envelopes you buy from the USPS, had a return address for CBS (makers of his show) but was postmarked from Hawaii! It contained the baseball card and 3x5 card, both signed in black sharpie, but the signatures look almost the same, almost the same size as if it was autopenned. So wouldn't be sure until i send out to PSA or JSA. As for sending items to PSA, it can be hit or miss. I obtained 3 Ichiro Suzuki autographs in person (hat, mini helmet and baseball) and sent them in (the hat first, then a few months later the ball and mini). The hat came back and wasn't able to be authenticated, so sent to JSA and came back authenticated. I then sent out the ball and mini helmet to PSA (PSA is closer to where i live) and those came back authentic. Mind you the autographs were bold and complete so just seem as if they would all pass, but no. So PSA DOES miss the mark at times.
