Re: Gymnastics

The first request I sent out this year was for Sam Peszek.

A week ago I got back my first reply of the year from Lauren Mitchell. USPS bent the hell out of it, but it pretty much made my day because I adore her, and I had so many unpleasant things to do that day - traveling around the city to do chores and get medical results.

Wow that's crazy, I've never even heard of that before!
Oh that's cool, good luck with them. I have autographs from Beth Tweddle, Becky Downie and Lilia Podkopayeva. I also wrote to Nastia Liukin when she was in the UK last year but didn't hear back. There are more gymnasts autographs that I really want, I have just never got round to writing to them.

That's a really good idea actually. I will have just graduated from University before the Olympics begin so that would be something amazing to spend my Summer doing before getting a proper job.

I might volunteer with helping with the 2012 olympics depending on what I'm doing with my life then and if I'd be able to work there depending on my age.

It's good to see all these Gymnastics fans!
I am praying I will be able to get tickets to see some of the gymnastics at the 2012 Olympics. It would be such a shame to miss an opportunity like that. It really will be a dream come true if I can!

I know you were giving a compliment - it just made me feel old. :)

Thanks for the congrats on Shawn Johnson - I'm proud of the fact that I did get her autograph.

OK.. that made me feel *really* old.. in her time.. I'm older than her.

But I did write to Shawn Johnson, and I just got her auto back. I do think she's fantastic as a gymnast.
