[b]Michael Robert Brown was born on January 25, 1977 in Hartlepool, England. He is currently playing in premier League for the Wigan Athletics as a Midfielder. He started his professional football with Manchester City in 1995 and after making 89 appearances for the club he moved to the Sheffield United in 1999. When he was playing for the Manchester City he was loan out to Hartlepool United and Portsmouth for the short period of time. While playing for Sheffield United Brown performance is outstanding as he helps the side in winning several crucial matches. In 2004 he joined Tottenham Hotspur and proved to be the key player in the team starting line. In no time he became the Fans favorite because of this hard work and honest contribution. On January 31, 2006 he left Tottenham HotSpurs to join Fulham but got injured in early matches. Before the end of the 2006 season he was handover the captain's armband and his performance increase of this. He signed for the Wigan Athletic on a three-year deal on 31 July 2007 because his place in fulham side was in danger[/b]
