Hi guys, i am planning to write to my favourite football team - Charlton Athletic
This is the letter i have wrote so far (Its all true) :
Dear Charlton Athletic Football Squad
I am currently a season ticket holder in the lower west stand and have been for the last five years. Me and my family sit in block F, row D. We always enjoy coming to watch the team play and we plan to come for many more years to come. Good luck in the promotion battle and I have all faith that we will make it.
I was just wondering if you would be kind to provide me with a signed football of the squad which will be donated into my football team’s raffle which is coming up shortly. I know it seems a very little thing for you, but it will make a huge difference to the number of tickets sold, I am sure. My football manager said that the money is going towards new training equipment for us all so the more tickets we sell, the better. The more help I get in finding items to raffle will be much appreciated and I am sure that the signed football would be the star prize.
I was just wondering if anyone has had success with this sort of things before and whether it sounds convincing enough. I am only 14 so yeh, all help is good. Is there anything else i need to add??
