Hi Gerard_Butler_Fan
Thanks for your post, and great to hear you want to collect for charity {thumb2}
Without wanting to put you off, the problem I think you are going to have is that most celebs/agents will gladly donate for a registered charity, but because you want to collect for a family who is supporting a charity through Missionary work, you are kind of 'once-removed' if you know what I mean?
If for example you wanted to collect for the Mission directly then I think you would have a much better chance of success. Of course this would involve more work for you though, as you would have to seek the approval and support of the Mission concerned.
On the other hand if your Church decided to run an official collection programme for the Mission then that would be a different matter, and your fundraising could be directly contributable to that.
Whilst I in no way suggest anything 'suspect' about your endeavour, unfortuantely charity donators (in this case the celebs and agents) tend to be increasingly skeptical about these one-off collections.
I hope this helps!
Ian
