I am not sure about this one but I thought I would suggest it anyway, In your shop window you could say selling autographs and have a phone number or website for more info. I think shop windows are relatively cheap.

you could ring your local press office found in the local papers, Im selling most of my A list autographs on ebay but others I am having a big auction night and doing it that way as I will make more and I am going to ring my local paper about that when I have arranged a date :D

another thing you could try is when you list the item sign up to that persons fan boards and post the link?

It will be a while before I sell any of my autographs, but I was looking on ebay at some autographs and a lot of them only go for very small amounts, like a couple of pounds. I was wondering how people get publicity for their auctions, so people will buy them?
