You should send your letter/items about a week before the concert date.
I would suggest you send two separate letters/envelopes:

Maybe at the bottom of the envelope, you can write: PLEASE HOLD-- CONCERT DATE: SEPT. 8

Hi :D , I wanted to write to David Cook and David Archuleta via-venue at the Wachovia Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Just wondering if anyone has the address, and how exactly should I go about doing this? What to write to...When to send...? Concert is on September 8th. Please let me know. Thanks.
