I wrote to wachovia and recieved back from coldplay.They do pass on fanmail

The Spectrum isn't a good venue to write to. Although they say they do pass on fanmail, I highly doubt they actually do so. I've heard of many people writing to many different performers at the Spectrum over the years, and no one I've heard of ever received a reply.
