Yes, it's always a good idea to mention in the 2nd or 3rd request (depending on how many you plan to send out) that you did send previous requests to earlier venues (state which ones so they know). that way it keeps you from looking like a dealer or autograph seller. and make sure to ask them to personalize them too.

Thanks for the reply. How would a celebrity feel about getting multiple requests from the same person? Should you explain your letter?

I think it almost certainly would. Some venues don't pass on mail to the artists, and if they get less requests at one venue than another, they may be more likely to sign. And if you get both back, which is possible, that is cool too.

Hi, if I send to a celebrity who's doing a tour, and I send to more than one venue they're performing at - would that increase my chances of getting a reply?
