Do you have a phone number for that Michigan production office? I realize the movie should have already wrapped but sometimes the production office is still there. I am curious if they forwarded while the movie was filming.

I just found out that the Michigan Film Office no longer forwards fan mail---they did at the time of my request to this movie. I asked her about another movie and she told me they no longer do that. She explained that when they did they simply sent it to the production office for the movie in question in their state.

So if anyone calls a production office in the state that a movie is being made in, and they tell you they don't forward, then don't bother sending it to the Film Office of that state because they will just send it to that same production office, and it will wind up in a trash bin.

At this point, if the production office for Youth in Revolt did still answer their phone, I must say I am curious to see if they did forward at the time I sent my request. If they did, that at least means my request did get to him, and now it's up to him to answer.

I guess I'll know in the next few weeks. If they do forward and I get nothing back then perhaps it is because he does not sign vv, and then I won't waste stamps on another venue.

When I talked to the Michigan Film Office she said she would forward and said nothing about it having wrapped at the time I talked to her. If it had already wrapped, or was just about to, I believe she would have told me so as not to waste my time sending a request. She was extremely friendly and very helpful, so I believe she would have said something. I assume the info in Variety is correct---I hope. {thumb2}

I had thought of that, but when I accessed members it only allowed me to enter the first letter. And then it brought up every name that began with D, and they weren't in alphabetical order.

I wasn't even sure if he went by the name Dan or if that is his real name. I wasn't about to scan hundreds of names.

I did try calling the Permut number and I got an answering machine.

I'll send it to the Michigan Film Office.
