steve garvey (retired baseball player) in person success

on vacation in las vegas i visited a sports memorabilia store in the forum shops as caeser's pallace called "field of dreams" there was a sign out front that said "meet pete rose this weekend" and im a big fan of pete's so i went in to find out the fee and details... turns out the pete rose autograph was 69.00 but you got to pick out any of the stores pete rose 8x10s and you get to sit down with him at a desk for a few minutes and he signs your pic (or baseball if you wanted to for 100.00) and poses for pics... plus the guy said that if i bought the pic to get pete rose's auto in advance (which as i was there on wednesday and pete wasn't goin to be there until friday i was there in advance lol) that i would get Steve Garvey's autograph for free...

so i bought the pete rose pic that i liked and picked out a steve garvey pic that i liked and went to the front of the store and sat down with steve and he signed and inscribed my pic and we spoke for a few minutes he was very very nice... and he even asked my friends to take a few pics with him and they didnt even buy anything... really cool guy
