That is so awesome that your friends with Kate. I've been so unlucky with her autograph wise. She is such an amazing performer though!

And Orfeh didn't show it at all. Another great performer!

And I wish Autumn would have come out! People were actually waiting for her, but she never showed either.

LOL You have some great friends!!!!

I know how hard it is to meet a cast after a matinee. I had little to no success with both A Catered Affair and Young Frankenstein at matinees in June.

I was lucky enough to meet the original Legally Blonde cast after a show in June last year. I met 22 of them in all, including Laura Bell Bundy, Annalegih Ashford (now in Wicked in Chicago), Leslie Kritzer (who went on to A Catered Affair), Nikki Snelson (current Cassie in the tour of A Chorus Line),Christian Borle, Michael Rupert, and Orfeh. I am also lucky enough to know Kate Shindle, and talk to her often.

I don't know why people had to say all the nasty things about Orfeh on the other board. She is an extremely nice person, but has a lot on her right now with her new album coming out. She has to be tired after working on that, and doing 8 shows a week.

I haven't seen the show since Bailey started, but I definitely have to check it out. My friend Autumn (who was runner up to Bailey) is in the show, and I have been meaning to see it again.

So yesterday I stagedoored after the 2 PM performance of LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL starring Bailey Hanks. As many know me on here, I'm a big Broadway fan and I know about most of the stagedooring.

Basically, anytime you stagedoor a matinee, no one really comes out. That was the case today. We had about 6 people, with Nicolette Hart, as Brooke, and Ven Daniels, as The UPS Guy/Kyle, being the only "stars" to come out. 4 other frequent tracked ensemble members also came out to sign.

I was really hoping my inclinations would be wrong and KATE SHINDLE would come out, but she didn't (as fi I didn't know!), and the line was huge, with people really wanting Bailey to come out, but as I told everyone in line, she usually won't come out during matinees. Someone was spreading rumors on a Broadway message board against Orfeh the night before, so I'd assume she wouldn't come out either. And since the whole reality show thing happened in March, Christian Borle, who plays Emmet does not come out either. We had understudies for the rest of the roles, so I'm sure they were super syked about going on twice in one day that they didn't come out either. I was hoping Kate Rockwell, who played Margot, or one of the other soriority girls would have came out, because they were just plain funny.

Nicolette, Ven & Manuel Herrarra, who plays Nikkos (the gay man on the stand during the trial) were all extremely nice, the others were as well.

Here's the playbill:
