Yeah true. Lol I wouldn't have known about the Alan signing if it wasn't for my boyfriend. There was a big poster advertising it but I didn't even acknowledge it! Then he pointed it out and I was like ooooh! :D But atleast now I know they do signings so I'll be looking out for them :)
Well this man is 65, and he's been writing pretty much his whole life. It looks like all of his books are about Hitler and Germany, and this one will just be a continuation of his other books. Maybe I should just buy the book lol and not bother embarrassing myself at the signing! I bet everyone there will be really old and be asking about his early books and stuff and I'll just be sat there clueless! Yeah I'm not gonna go haha

I dont think theres much mention on websites so its if your lucky enough to notice when they do, do some.
Im so glad I didn't meet parky.

I'd do some research and get the info about him, if he asks just say you've read up what the book about and just bought it because its just so interesting, most writers will expect the one or two still waiting to read it.

If you do go, have a good time

Haha that is funny! One older lady asked me who was coming when I first arrived but I don't think she knew who Alan was when I told her, because she just said oh and walked off lol.
If Alan or Parky were to have asked me something then I wouldn't have been worried I don't think because I'd watched them both on tv for years and read a few chapters of each of their books so I think I would have been fine. It's just because I know nothing about this guy or any of the books he's previoulsy written (if any!), I don't even know what he looks like lol. Maybe I should do a little research if I do decide to go :P
Oh so it wasn't just me who Parky was a bit rude to then. Lol I'm quite glad that it wasn't just me, I was hoping he didn't just take one look at me and think stereotypical student lol and decide to ignore me
Well like I said up until about 12 there was like 10 people there. Even when I was leaving the queue was still inside the store so there couldn't have been that many people turn up. I remember feeling sorry for him at first, but then after I met him I was thinking more people turned up than he deserved! :P
Yes there is a Woolies, it's just inside the Merrion shopping centre. Do you think it would say about signings on the website or would I have to check for posters in store?

Lmao that was what I was scared of alan doing, it's worth a visit, I noticed on friday alot didn't know what was going off, then rushed in to buy the book just to get it signed so im sure a few might turn up.

How big was the que for Parky? He must of been horrible, the lass I was talking too said she doesn't want to keep his autograph because he was so ignorant. It must of been horrible meeting him, you see him so happy on TV then he's a noob (minus an o  ) in real life.

That book sounds interesting, I think If I lived in Leeds and could afford the book i'd do it, its nice to do regular IP's.

Lol dunno if I told you before but in the que for alan someone came up to us asking when will J.K rowling be comming out to sign    Ramdom but I just remembered and it still makes me laught.

Do you know if theres a Woolworths in Leeds? They've also began in store signings, hubby works at my local, he's been telling me about cliff Richard and Jason Donavan going to city signings.

I wouldn't know if one came up and introduced themselves to me to be honest! I haven't watched that show since I was like 13! Ohhhh yeah I forgot about that, while I was queuing for Parky a few older women said someone from heartbeat was in the queue. I've never watched that show though so I didn't know who he was. I don't know if you watch it or not but they said he plays the new copper in it. Lol i totally forgot about that until you just said about Emmerdale.
No not the chef, it's Ian Kershaw, his book is called 'Hitler, the Germans, and the Final Solution'. I've not read any of his stuff before but I just think that book sounds really interesting, and he's talking about his book too so that may include a question and answer session so I think it would be quite a good evening. I'm just a bit unsure because I've never read anything by him before so I don't want him to ask me anything! I could imagine there only being like 10 people turn up so he spends time talking to everyone! That would be just my luck!

Ok thank you :)
Yeah I've watched all her shows, and all the documentary type things about her life she's done and she really does seem like such a nice person. She's also been through so much, like with Harvey and stuff, so she must be an inspiration to so many people.
Ah right, I haven't seen the WHSmith in Leeds, only the one at the train station. But yeah, like I said I'm not a fan of Gordon so I won't bother with that one.
I'm still not sure what to do about the one tomorrow night, lol why can't i make a decision?!

Haha cool! Yeah Julie Walters is one person who I would LOVE to meet. Katie Price also but I don't think she has a new book out at the moment does she?
Also just a few people who my family like so I could get them as christmas presents.
Lets just hope more get added soon then :)
Do WHSmith have one each week then? Do you have the link for the page you found out about it on? I tried to look for it before on the WHSmith website and I don't know if it was me just having a blonde moment but I couldn't find anything about it anywhere!
