If you live in Liverpool, it would perhaps be worthwhile to go early and stand outside for the arrivals. You never know, you may get lucky. I wouldn't bother if I didn't live near the venue though!

Some events have real fans there, I know the world music awards I went to in 2005 (Michael Jackson, Beyonce et al.) had real fans at the front, as do the BRIT awards as you can get tickets to stand there.
