Thanks! Had a brilliant three days in Stratford, seriously I could live there. And spend all my time sitting outside the Courtyard cafe (which sadly, in 2010 won't be there anymore :() or The Duck!

Added my photo taken with Ed.

RSC Hamlet/Love's Labour's Lost cast

Last Tuesday, I saw Hamlet and got David Tennant's autograph. On Friday, I booked train tickets and a B&B in Stratford to meet with friends and queue for returned tickets for both LLL and Hamlet. It was my Big Adventure. Wonderfully, I got great returned tickets for both and had a fabulous time. I've come home tired, slightly poorer, but a very happy bunny.

I met many of the cast who were all lovely, and quite chatty. Shared a few drinks in the Duck after the shows, and Edward Bennett, Ricky Champ, David Ajala and Tom Davey were particularily lovely.

I also saw the director of both plays, Greg Doran, outside the theatre on yesterday morning (we were sat at the theatre cafe outside seats, pretty much all morning, just watching the world go by). He was alone, and appeared to be waiting for someone. Many of the cast wandered in and waved as they passed us. I approached Greg and asked him to sign my programmes. He was lovely, and shocked that I recognised him. Sat back down with my friends, when who should rock up but David himself. He stopped to speak with Greg and I nearly got up to go over, but wanted to wait til they were no longer talking. Alas, David nipped inside before I could. Closest opportunity I will ever get to actually speaking to him, and I blew it. If only I had gone over to Greg five minutes later, I'd have been with him when David arrived! Alas.

I also spotted many others: Nina Sosanya, Kathryn Drysdale, Joe Dixon, Peter de Jersey etc but they were busy with friends, so I didn't intrude. Anyway, scans of my programmes.
