Followed up yesterday's Kanye IP success with one of my best graphing days!! In the morning I got to Live with Regis and Kelly at 8 AM. There were about 10 people when Regis got there. He signed for everyone that wanted him and took pics with a few girls, Regis is always one of the nicest guys around. A SUV pulled up at 8:20-30 and Hugh Jackman walked out! Everyone just rushed to him and started asking for pictures with and autographs. Hugh signed and took pictures with the 30+ people there! He squished his autograph on my 8x10 because he tried to find the best spot to sign the photo. Didn't turn a single person down and talked to everyone. A few girls were waiting for Kristen Stewart from Twilight, but she taped last week. Ran over to a store to buy People magazine with Hugh the cover as the Sexiest Man Alive. Hugh walked out of Live at 9:40-50 and didn't sign. Me and my friend knew which hotel he always stays at in NYC so we ran like crazy over to the hotel. We waited around for Hugh's SUV, but we didn't see it. We were leaving the hotel and my friend noticed a SUV and asked me if it was Hugh's driver. I looked and recognized his driver. We ran across the street back to the hotel and Hugh came out of the SUV. He smiled and started joking with us, "I'll play that. How did you guys know I was here? I'm NOT even staying here!" Awesome moment
! He signed my People's magazine and signed+personalized my friend's Wolverine 8x10, but didn't sign my friend's 8x10 of Hugh with his shirt off. Hugh chatted with us for a little bit, shook my hand and went into the hotel. One of my best successes ever, Hugh is an amazing guy that is personable with his fans. After we got Hugh, we went over to the Today Show to try for Tom Jones. We waited until almost 11 AM, but we didn't see him around. We took the train over to The View where Teri Hatcher and Brooke Burke were on. There were 6-8 people there. My friend gave me a 8x10 of Teri. A SUV pulled up, but the windows were too dark to see who was inside. One guy tapped the window in the front where I think Teri Hatcher's manager was. Teri's manager rolled the window down and handed items to Teri who was sitting in the back to sign. Teri signed about 4 graphs, no blanks- 2 magazines and 2 8x10s. A towncar pulled up and Derek Hough (winner of Dancing with the Stars Season 7 with Brooke Burke and the brother of Julianne Hough) was in it. No one knew his name except me. I asked him if he could please sign and he said, "Yea I'll sign this one." He signed my index card and a few other blanks for other people. Great guy. A car pulled up with cops inside probably Brooke Burke's car and the driver ran the red light to drive away from two crazy graphers. Great day, got Hugh Jackman twice and Teri Hatcher who was named the #9 Worst signer of 2007.
