He doesn't mind posing for photos, so it is worth going back and getting one with him. Here is one of me ans him:

Isn't Derek Jacobi just absolutely lovely? =D I went to see [i]Twelfth Night[/i] just before Christmas, went to the stagedoor afterwards and he was an absolute delight (everyone was, actually, but Sir Derek was striking!).

I'm planning on going back to see the play again (it was magnificent, a worthy successor to [i]Ivanov[/i]) and asking him for a photo with me. I didn't ask the first time because I wasn't sure it wouldn't bother him, but he didn't seem to mind at all when posing with other people, so! What a wonderful man, seriously.

Sir Derek signed a Dr Who picture / card of him playing Professor Yana, and also signed my 'In my night garden' DVD sleeve.
