On March 23. 2017 I had a Meet and Greet with the french Metal Band GOJIRA in Berlin.
It turned out, that I was the only one who bought a M&G for Berlin that day. :lol:
So it was kind of a private setting. I got to watch soundcheck, bought a T-Shirt at the merch table and then we went to the backstage and sat on the couch, talking a bit. Very nice guys. I even got the pair of drum sticks used at the soundcheck.
If you don't know GOJIRA - check them out! The older albums are death metal with long songs and progressive structures. But their latest album "Magma" is way more melodic and got clean vocals for the first time! On vorious metal sites it has been ranked as one of the best albums of 2016!! It sure is! 8)
Joe (vocals) and brother Mario Duplantier (drums) are amazing artists!!
[b]Check out "Stranded", "Silvera", "The Shooting Star", "The Cell" from the "Magma" album!!! Another fave is an older song called "A Sight To Behold" from the album "The Way Of All Flesh". \m/[/b]
