Tuesday
Went to Letterman around 1 pm and U2 was with Mayor Bloomberg for their street naming, "U2 Way." Only Bono signed on the way in to Letterman and he skipped my photo. I helped a guy get Felicity Huffman on a 11x14 and I got comedian, Artie Lange on an index card. Left at 7:30 pm after waiting for U2 to come out in the freezing cold, they came out at 10:30 pm.
Wednesday
Arrived at Letterman around 4 pm. U2 came out around 7:30-8 pm. Bono came right in front of me. He signed vinyls on my left and right then skipped a ton of people to sign and continued that pattern. Tried to get him in his car, but he didn't sign. Missed getting Edge and Adam while running after Bono. Larry Mullen Jr. didn't sign at all.
Today
Went to Letterman around 1:20 pm. Edge arrived first and signed for the ENTIRE crowd. He spent ten minutes signing for the entire crowd and then he went over to the other barricades to sign more. Nice surprise as Edge is usually a tough signer. I got him on the booklet of their new CD. Adam Clayton arrived next and he also signed down the line of the entire crowd. But he skipped many items and signed quickly. I got Adam on the booklet of their new CD and then got him on a 8x10. Both Edge and Adam were looking at everyone's faces, but many people got two autographs. Larry Mullen Jr. came in next and as usual, he just waves at us from across the street. Bono was the last U2 member to arrive and the crowd went INSANE. Bono had his camera to take pictures or film the crowd. He spent his time signing EVERYTHING at the beginning of the line. Bono took pictures with fans and was incredibly nice. A women in her car stopped right next to Bono while in traffic and she went nuts. Bono walked to her car and gave the woman a hug

. He slowly made his way down the line signing and he finally got in front of us. He started to skip items again and I stretch my arm to get my cd booklet signed. I ran down to another spot in the crowd and he signed my 8x10. Bono spent over ten minutes with the fans, just a great guy

. Jon Stewart didn't sign anything on the way in to Letterman. We went over to the The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and waited 2 hours for Billy Crudup. Didn't need Billy so I helped a dealer get an 8x10 signed of him. Left after my friends went to the Apple Store for Patrick Wilson and Jeffrey Dean Morgan
