First time in London for quite a while , so it would be rude to not do the stage doors {thumb2}
First , went after the matinee of Oliver! - no Rowan Atkinson this week - first out was Jodie Prenger , got auto book and programme , next out was Julian Glover , and I was ( I think ) the only one interested in him , got programme , Bond DVD cover , Star Wars DVD cover , and 2 Doctor Who DVD / video covers . In all the madness over Jodie , I managed to spy a shorter man , with hat and coat almost covering his head , sneaking out . Me and my wife surrounded Mr Gorman , and I got programme , Torchwood cast shot ( also signed by Eve Myles ) and Torchwood book signed . Julian Bleach never came out - will meet him again some time soon so no problem .
Not a bad start , and decided to chill for a while , then go after the end of both Madame De Sade and A View From The Bridge ( theatres very close ) . Due to the usual lack of urgency , we only just got to the theatre in time for Madame De Sade to end . Managed to get Fiona Button ( two , programme and autograph book ) , Deborah Findlay ( programme ) , Frances Barber x 2 ( programme and auto book ) and Rosamund Pike x 2 ( programme and Doom DVD cover ) . Managed to miss Jenny Galloway , and Judi Dench left through the front door - not sure if she is still recovering from her fall . Again , not bad , and straight over to the other play .
Just in time , managed to get hold of a programme , and noticed that Harry Lloyd was also in the production . He was first out - got programme and Doctor Who book signed . Next came Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio - signed programme , Abyss photo , and Scarface video cover . Finally came Ken Stott - signed programme , auto book and Fever Pitch DVD cover ( chuffed - it's also signed by Colin Firth ) .
All in all , a nice selectioin
No photos yet , maybe soon .
