It's just the opposite with me. Now, I can understand celebrities turning down signing "stacks" of photos ( ebayers and dealers do this ) but living in the Hollywood area I have more problems having them sign blank cards or pieces of paper. They tell me "I don't sign blanks".
Here in Hollywood the celebrities prefer to sign photos. But usually when you volunteer a name the celebrity has a change of heart and will sign practically anything you have. Personally I like my name on a photo. A lot of times the celebrity will sign the photo with a nicer signature and sometimes they'll also write out something cool. In my opinion, in Hollywood it's more the paparazzi's fault. Celebrities hate the paparazzi! Because of them you can't have a nice conversation like Nathan did with Tobey. Sometimes, though I see celebrities a lot here, I envy people like Nathan. I wish I could carry a conversation with someone like a Tobey McGuire or a Laura Linney.
