I was contemplating a talk she did near me a couple of weeks ago , but didn't go - I am still too angry at her for inventing the LongPen , where somebody does a signing from their own home , while you sit in a bookshop talking to a TV screen :roll: {down}

Margaret Atwood Book Tour Launch

I attended the launch of Margaret Atwood's latest book tour for her new novel, Year of the Flood. If anyone gets an oppurtunity to go, I would. It was very interesting because instead of being a regular reading, she has developed a sort of dramatic piece that goes along with some music while she narrarates.

Very exciting to meet one of the most iconic fiction writers of the century.
