Mine's actually a bit worse than I had remembered! But still the change is there
It seems like your autograph is less rushed. I like how she inscribed yours. :)

Thank you. I am very happy with the two autographs that I got. Next year, I hope to get more. :)
Jodi Picoult is a great author. Her books are very good, and very different from anything that I've read.

I went to the National Book Festival, in Washington D.C., yesterday. The signings started at 10 and I got there at 9, so I went to a Starbucks to waste some time. What a mistake that was! I didn't think that there would be so many people there, and when I got back to The National Mall, they weren't accepting anymore people in the line to meet James Patterson. I was a little upset, considering I had brought three books for him to sign. I'm going to write to him, and I hope I can get his address that way.

My friend and I noticed Jodi Picoult's line was already starting to fill, and she wasn't due to start signing for another hour and a half. We got in that line and nearly two hours later, I got to meet her and get her autograph. She was extremely nice, but extremely rushed. When I got up to her, she asked me how I was doing and she smiled when I responded. I tried to snap a picture while she signed my book.

I then headed to see if I could make to Nicholas Sparks. When I got there, I was told that he would only be signing his new books, The Last Song. I didn't have that books, so I was a little disappointed.

Finally, I jumped in line to meet David Wroblewski. His line was relatively short... I guess he isn't as well known. I waited about 45 minutes before I got up to meet him. He greeted me and asked if I read his book, and then asked if I liked it. He signed and dedicated my book and even gave me some information on his next release.

So overall, I had a 50% success rate. I don't think I did too bad, considering it was my first time there.
