A very cool guy {up}

I met him a few weeks ago at Talladega Superspeedway. They were doing their Fan Appreciation Day and he was doing a concert. After the concert was over he went to his mechandice booth and signed autographs for everyone who bought a CD. He was very nice to everyone.

I am actually at my work, the front desk of a hotel in Columbus, MS. Any time any event happens in the area, the VIPs usually stay at my hotel and I have a chance to meet them.

I was sitting in the lobby watching the end of the Arkansas v. Florida game and Darryl Worley and his band came down getting ready for a show they had tonight. Darryl was a really cool guy. He gave me three comp tickets to the show (which I called my fiance' and her and a couple of her girlfriends will use them) and gave me an additional one that he signed for me.

After that, we sat around for fifteen minutes just talking SEC football and watched the game. He was very humble, and even said he was going to talk about the hotel and me personally on stage at the show tonight when he talks about the city's hospitality. Super awesome!!

The cast of CMT's "Trick My Truck" is also staying here tonight, so I will try to get their autograph tonight as well.
