met in person: 4/26/25

It was the now the second day of this year's Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo and the first guest I met that day is William Shatner. When I saw that he was on the guest list for this year's event before it started, I was quite surprised and excited knowing I met him two years ago at the same comic con. This year, he was not just offering autographs, but selfies as well. When I came up to him, I asked him if he remembers me and somehow he did. Then I told him that him coming to Huntsville a second time had given me the chance to tell him in person that even though I grew up with [i]Star Trek: The Next Generation[/i] to begin with, I realized I had to get into the original [i]Star Trek[/i], especially to stay on his good side. Then I proudly told him that I watched every single episode of the original [i]Star Trek[/i], including the animated series, and the first six movies, and I told him that I hope he found that very commendable of me and he said he did. I paid $220 for a new autograph and a selfie. I hope you like the picture.
