Ezra Levant is a Canadian lawyer, Conservative political activist, blogger, founder and former publisher of the Western Standard, and has written several books. He is especially known for publishing the extremely controversial Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons which resulted in him being brought before the Alberta Human Rights Commission. He filmed his entire interview with the AHC, and posted the videos on Youtube where they became an internet sensation.
He was speaking at the University of Ottawa and was intending to introduce American Conservative commentator Ann Coulter. Due to huge protests though, the event was cancelled. Mr Levant was still there though and I had him sign a copy of my book.
