I worked last night , then home , changed , and set off to Blackpool hoping to meet Dirk Bendict at the Theatre where he is playing Columbo until Saturday . After waiting about 90 minutes and only seeing one of the girls from the cast , Dirk finally arrived , less than half an hour before the show . I got him to sign a Battlestar Galatica photo-novel that I had , and my friend got me an A Team pb signed ( he was only doing one each , but I would have been happy with that so am really chuffed getting two ) .

As I was putting my books in my bag , another actor who I wanted almost sneaked by , but came out and signed the 3 Doctor Who books I wanted .

All in all , it was a very successful day . Dirk wasn't as friendly as I had hoped , but did , at least sign
