You were unlucky ! Peter can take a few minutes to appear, but not
that long. And he's good about autograph requests too, never seems to be in a hurry. If you haven't already got his autograph, so
long as you send an SAE he'll send whatever back signed.But the play closes on the 11th Sept. - and a theatre's a good address to write to - so if it's still on your to do list get a move on ;).
Anyone who can get to see "Secret" before it closes take the chance : it's really good entertainment.
lol, Liz

Robert Daws Success and Peter Egan Failure (Sherlock Holmes)

Tonight, I went to see The Secret of Sherlock Holmes at the Duchess Theatre in London, a play that I've always wanted to see, since the original with Jeremy Brett. It was a great performance, very psychological and deep. It stars Peter Egan as Holmes, with Robert Daws as Watson, 2 actors who have made a lot of TV appearances throughout their careers.

I waited outside the Stage Door for around ten minutes, and Robert came out, and signed happily for me, and thanked me. He had his young son with him, so I didn't want to delay him. He told me Peter would be out in a minute. I waited for around half an hour, and then eventually someone turned off the lights from the inside, so I assumed Peter had left from a different door. It's not a big deal though, I can always just send my programme to be signed, so it's not a big problem. I'm happy that I got to see a great play, and get Mr. Daws' signature {up}
