Yesterday, I went to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first day of practice for the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix MotoGP race. There was a free pit walk for about 2 hours in the morning. While there, I got to meet, and get an autograph on my event program from Marco Melandri.
And, thankyou to the person standing in front of me who held my program out to be signed for me, I was able to also get Colin Edwards'
After the pit was over, I went to the SPEED Stage where riders were doing interviews. When I got there, the Repsol rider had just left. Nicky Hayden and Casey Stoner, only signed in front of the stage, and promptly left. I was with a group of people standing against a fence, and behind the stage, where people with press tickets could enter the stage area. The next person was Jorge Lorenzo, who signed a picture I took of him last year when he climbed the fence, after he won, right in front of me! VERY HAPPY TO GET THAT SIGNED. (If you're wondering, the pics of the program and picture will be at the bottom)
Next was Valentino "The Doctor" Rossi. He signed my event program. VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS ONE TOO. (If you are wondering, the SPEED Stage is directly right of the little tent thing in this picture.)
The next person was Randy De Puniet, but I don't have a picture of him. I wasn't expecting him. He acted like he wasn't going to sign anything for anyone, but the guy beside me was a huge fan and kept yelling at him. Randy finally came over and signed 4 items, including my program, and took one picture with the guy and left. Next out was Loris Capirossi, who also signed my program. I wanted to also get his teammate Alvaro Bautista, but he stayed in front of the stage.
Last were Marco Simoncelli and teammate Marco Melandri. I had Simoncelli sign the cover of my program, and Melandri (who had already signed the cover) sign by his bio inside the program.

And the awesome Lorenzo picture!! He pointed at it and laughed when he signed it. I think it kind of surprised him lol.
