Went to Salford tonight to see the latest UK gig from Tim Robbins and his band . He signed for one person beforehand ( telling him he'd only sign one each ) , but I was too slow on the uptake and missed him . When the gig finished , a few people were waiting near a door behind the stage , expecting him out there . I got there as he came out , seemed very friendly ( the gig had been a good one - he seemed to enjoy it ) . He only seemed to want to sign one for people with pix , but was willing to sign a couple for people with DVD covers . As I was there with a couple of people , I managed to get more signed
In the end , he signed a pic from Erik The Viking , as well as my Shawshank Redemption , my High Fidelity , my Bull Durham and my Top Gun ( now signed by him and Kelly McGillis ) DVD covers .
