I like that they bribe you all with food & drinks.
Our team signings literally herd us like cattle, repeat the same messages over & over again about "1 item per person" etc & then shoo us away from the table like we're going to steal it once the player has signed.

Today I went down to the Polonia Bank Flyers Skate Zone for their annual event of having a player from the Philadelphia Flyers appear there and sign autographs. This year they had left-winger Ville Leino, who is a newcomer. At these events they usually have pucks for the players to sign, so I got a signed puck and a Flyers schedule I asked him to sign and personalize. He was very nice, took pictures with those who wanted, and signed anything people gave him. Also, they had refreshments this year again. I had two pretzels, two hot dogs, a piece of pizza, a mint-tasting vanilla cookie, a grape LifeSaver, and a cup of soda.
