You should wait among people, where the front line is(but after the cocert, usually artists come up among the people and have some time to sign). There are some artists that sign while the concert is being performed, so it'd be good if you can be close enough to the stage, so that it's easier to face the band and get their autographs. "May I have your autograph, please?" is a polite and general expression, which is often used when requesting autographs in person.
