The band Blondie came to my city El Paso, TX November 16 of 2010 and I decided to go "hunting" for them. I found out they were at a local hotel and decided to try some luck by waiting there. I got to the hotel around 5pm and waited in the lobby/bar until 7:30 when they came out ready for the show. All the current band members were there and due to me having a vinyl record of the album "Parallel Lines," I payed more attention to the original members. Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, Clem Burke came down the elevator to hop on their ride to the venue, I approached them and asked Clem kindly if he could sign my vinyl and he did. Next I saw Debbie Harry and I didn't want to scare her off so I approached her hiding my record and told her; "Hi Debbie my name is Abraham and it's an honor to meet you." She shook my hand and stared confused, I told her that her ride was the white truck outside and they were waiting for her, she then realized Clem was in the vehicle and started to walk toward the car. I asked her if she could please sign my album. She did and she wrote, "To Abe Debbie Harry."
Next was Chris and while Debbie was signing my album, he stepped outside to the car. Before he got in I was able to approach him outside when the manager of the hotel told us that we had to leave and stop bugging their guest. I asked Chris if he could please sign my vinyl and if he didn't want to it was ok.
Chris said, "Do you have something to write with."
So he finished signing my album and we laughed at the hotel manager

and left.
To end the story, we went to the show and had a blast!
(There are no photos of the encounter because we didn't want to get kicked out from the hotel)
