Charlize also had the premiere of 'North Country' tonight in Melbourne, unfortunately I couldn't go due to other commitments. Oh well :|

Navkiran, the premiere was free although you needed an invitation to go and watch the film with Charlize.

I arrived 40 minutes prior to the scheduled 'red carpet walk' and luckily, got my way down right to the front!! :mrgreen:

Hey!!!

Omg you are SO lucky!!! She is absolutely dazzling!!! When i saw her at the Toronto Film Festival she was also late and waved and smiled for her fans and rushed in to see the movie!! She is so wonderful Congrats on meeting her!! Thats a lovely success!!

Charlize Theron - 'North Country' - Australian Premiere

I went to see Charlize Theron at the Australian premiere for 'North Country' yesterday at the State Theatre in Sydney.

She came out dressed fabulously and walked the red carpet, being interviewed for about 15 minutes by the media. Finally she crossed the road to where we were and waved and said 'hello'. I don't think she signed any autographs though due to her being late and the mad rush of photographers.

Luckily, she walked down the street and stopped right infront of me (we were less than 1 metre apart!!) then she waved to fans down the street and walked up and back onto the red carpet on the other side of the street to be interviewed for a further 20 minutes. After that, she went inside the theatre for her premiere,
